When Captain Lawrence Brewing Company opened its taps in Pleasantville, NY in 2005, it became the only brewery in Westchester County. Founder, Scott Vaccaro named his company after Captain Lawrence Drive in South Salem, NY—the street on which he grew up. The street was named after Captain Samuel Lawrence, a captain in the Westchester County Militia during the American Revolution.
The Galactic Fog comes courtesy of Captain Lawrence’s limited release series, and it’s totally out of this world. An IPA dry-hopped with Galaxy Hops, it’s juicy, hazy, dank and citrusy–all of the good stuff you expect to be in a killer New England style IPA. Wowsers!
