Today’s Window Sill beer releases this Friday, here’s what you can expect!

This week, I was invited down to Stamford to talk with Jordan (Director of Branding and Customer Service) and Zach (Tasting Room Manager) from Half Full Brewery. As they look to expand their brand, they’ve been reaching out to members of the beer and food writing community, which is pretty great. Not only did they chat me up about the past, present and future of Half Full, they also allowed me to taste a couple of beers and gave me a quick tour. I can’t thank them enough for their generosity!

I also went down there to pick up some cans of their upcoming Without Rhyme or Reason #2 release, “Ernest.” The WROR is a series of slightly more experimental beers that are being sold in cans, but only at the tasting room. Ernest is a blended Belgian/Amber hybrid that spent a year in first and second-use bourbon barrels before being canned. Yowsa! The bourbon aroma perked me up from the beginning, and the oaky, fruity flavors and Belgian Yeast really gave it a nice, smooth finish. My wife, Jeannie, especially liked this one.

Head down to Half Full on Friday, December 15 at 4:00PM to get your hands on some cans!
