Stout Season going hard on the sill today!
The Rebel Stout series is an ongoing project from Ireland’s Lough Hill Brewery that is out to prove to the world that there is more than one kind of stout in Ireland. The Irish town of Sligo has a 300-year history of brewing that had been dormant for a century before James and Valerie Ward opened Lough Gill in 2016. They’re doing their best to reestablish that tradition, and make it better than ever.
Rebel Stout #1 is an imperial oatmeal coffee cream stout. Yep, it’s a real mouthful. This beer is dark AF, and oh so chocolaty and delicious. At 11%, it packs a punch, so make sure you’re chilling like the guy on the can if you’re having one of these. Wowsers. How do I get my hands on #2?
