Wondering who makes all the delicious beer over at Magnify Brewing Company? That would be head brewer Erich Carrle. Prior to landing the Jersey gig, he brewed in Brooklyn, San Jose and San Francisco. Hopefully, the team of Erich and Eric (Ruta, Magnify’s founder) stay together, and make great beer, for a very long time.
The Peak Oil Imperial IPA is the final selection from the score of delicious Magnify beers I received from The NJ Beer Snobs. It’s hopped with Citra, Mosaic and Amarillo in the kettle, and then dry hopped with Citra and Mosaic lupulin powder. Finally, as if that wasn’t enough incredible hoppyness, it is then conditioned on Apollo hop oil. This beer is hoppy AF, and I loved it. Damn!
