We have a very deadly brew on the sill today!

According to popular opinion, Colorado’s Oskar Blues Brewery was the first craft brewery to package its beers in cans (Dale’s Pale Ale in 2002). While that’s not exactly accurate—a handful of places did it before—Oskar Blues was definitely a pioneer for canning in the industry. Today, more than half of craft beer is packaged in cans. Thanks, Oskar!

I bought this beer to answer one question: could my love of coconut defeat my “meh” attitude towards porters? The answer is a resounding “Yes!” I loved this beer. Pure liquid cacao, intense coconut goodness and loads of dark chocolate and extra dark caramel malt. If this is death, then take me now!
