Another day, another mango brew on the Window Sill…

This is the first brew from Chicago’s Pipeworks Brewing Company to hit the window sill, although it’s not the first one I’ve tried from the company with the colorful cartoon cans. Let’s talk about those crazy cans, shall we? The Mango Guppy can was designed by artist Jason Burke (@inkandleaddesigns). Burke was first introduced to Pipeworks’ owners Gerrit Lewis and Beejay Olson through a friend, and was tasked with creating the can for the famed Ninja vs. Unicorn. Since then, Burke has produced over a dozen cans and labels for Pipeworks. I don’t know what’s better, the art or the beer!

The Mango Guppy is a session IPA that was canned for the first time in April of this year. It’s brewed with mango, wildflower honey and super juicy Mosaic and Citra hops that make it a solid summer session IPA.
