What is a Kolsch? If you like ales, and you like lagers, but you can’t decide which one you want to drink, then a Kolsch might be the beer for you. Originating from Cologne, Germany (probably smells good there, ah?), a Kolsch is fermented with ale yeast, but then finished in cold temperatures, like a lager.
When the Denver Beer Co. reaches the fermentation time for the Princess Yum Yum, they add tons of real raspberries. It’s, tart and tasty with a crisp, dry finish. Definitely a decent brew that goes down smooth on a hot summer session day. Beautiful color, too!
