Thanks to Half Full’s generosity, I got to taste and review a beer that doesn’t release until Wednesday!

I’ve always been a fan of Stamford, CT’s Half Full Brewery, so I was excited to hear they were releasing the first can in their Without Rhyme or Reason series—a series of beers that “don’t fit into any particular series, and don’t adhere to any particular style.” They’re basically being brewed for fun, and that can result in some really good beer.

I decided to promote the release on my blog, and reached out to the brewery to see if they had an image I could use for my post. Instead, Half Full gifted me a six pack to drink… THREE DAYS BEFORE RELEASE DAY! The beer—a Double-Dry-Hopped IPA W/Lactose Sugar & Lupulin Powder named Amelia–is delicious. Light and fluffy with some great hoppy and citrusy flavors, and a wonderful mouthfeel.

Head down to Half Full on Wednesday, November 22 at 12:00PM to get your hands on some Amelia cans!
