Going “Local” (not local) with another San Francisco brew!

We covered a bit about Local Brewing Co.’s kickass women owners last time it was on the sill, but I wanted to give a special shout out to one of them, Regan, for taking the time to talk to me about today’s beer. Much love to her, and Local!

The In the Family is brewed with fresh Strata hops and added Cannabis Terpenes—the aromatic oils from cannabis—that give the beer a delicious double dose of dankness. For you curious cannabis connoisseurs, Jack Frost strain terpenes were used for the ITF. The beer gets its name from the fact that Cannabis and hops are in the same flora family. Also, there’s no actual THC in the beer, which is good or bad, depending on your recreational preferences! I thought it was tasty and different. Good stuff!
