Part II of our Tree House Trifecta is in effect-a!

The complaint I’ve heard consistently about Tree House Brewing Company is those damn can limits. In their old facility, revelers were limited to 10 or 12 cans of whatever was on the day’s menu. Lame. Thankfully, the huge new facility in Charlton is able to produce a lot more beer, so those limits have been greatly increased! Sadly, growler fills have been suspended for the time being, as the company adjusts to its new digs. I guess you can’t win them all.

Tree House has done something really intriguing with this IPA, which was originally brewed for the company’s third anniversary. Everyone loves, Julius, right? The Alter Ego is basically a Julius… in disguise! Tree House took the Julius recipe and altered the dry hop by adding tons of Mosaic and Amarillo hops. Don’t worry, though. Despite the name, this beer is no pretender. It just might be my favorite Tree House brew.
