Here comes the boom on the window sill today!
When owner Daniel Lanigan founded Lord Hobo Brewing Company back in 2015, he went all in. Rather than start small, he opened what was, at the time, the largest brewery in New England history. He told the Boston Herald: “We didn’t open a 47,000-square-foot brewery to be small. The goal is to make a lot of great beer.” That desire for greatness–and the brewery’s name–stems from his belief that we all deserve to drink like royalty, whether you’re a lord or a hobo. I agree.
The Boom Sauce is one of Lord Hobo’s flagship beers. It’s been around since the beginning, and is really delicious. It features six kinds of hops, including Ella, Mosaic and Falconers Flight, and is brewed with a blend of spelt, oat and wheat. It’s juicy, citrusy, smooth and tropical, and packs a deceptively solid punch in the alcohol department.
