The Window Sill is going back to the prairies now!

Prairie Artisan Ales opened its doors in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2012 and quickly garnered a reputation for crafting unique, outside-the-box brews. Everything they make is bold, and everything I’ve had from them has been outstanding. In 2016, founder Chase Healey sold Prairie outright to Krebs Brewing Co. I’m not sure how its affected quality, since I never tried anything from Prairie before the sale, but I do see their bottles around my area more and more these days, so I think it’s a good thing.

The Phantasmagoria was fantastic. Or maybe… phantastic? Prairie doesn’t list the ingredients on the official description, but this beer is loaded with piney, floral, hoppy juiciness. A little sweetness from the malt shines through, and the bitter touch at the end is perfect. Really, really good DIPA from Prairie. Label art is on point, too!
