Another local brewery is hitting the sill for the first time today!
Aspetuck Brew Lab, in Black Rock, CT, was founded by husband and wife team Peter and Tara Cowles. Peter, was an avid homebrewer who was inspired to turn his hobby into a business after winning several awards in the National Homebrew Competition. The 7-barrel brewery launched in December of 2015–the first brewery to open in Bridgeport in 70 years.
I really liked this canned version of the DDH Turbidity Lucidity. It was fresh, citrusy, juicy and hazy… and you know I love a good DDH. It also uses two different kinds of lupulin powder—Simcoe and Mosaic. Tasty!
