Can the window sill bear the weight of a Titan? Of course!

Great Divide Brewing Company was founded in 1994 by Colorado native Brian Dunn, who got into homebrewing after spending 5 years building farms in developing countries. When the Rockies started play in the early 90s, Dunn saw an opportunity in Denver’s Ballpark neighborhood. He set up shop, and his beers have made GD one of America’s most decorated breweries ever since. Like many Colorado breweries, GD also does its part for the environment. Most of their materials are recycled and recyclable. Spent grain is donated to local cattle farms. The brewery even gives its employees eco-passes, so they can enjoy unlimited use of public transportation and reduce their carbon footprints. I love the way they make beer in Colorado, and I’m glad GD does its part.

The Titan IPA is a great example of Dunn’s award-winning abilities. It is aggressively-hopped for those of us who like truly hoppy brews. It’s Piney, hoppy, citrusy and rich, with a crisp hoppy bitter finish that I really dug. It’s no wonder this beer has medaled in several international competitions, while taking home several regional championships in America to boot. I’m definitely looking forward to my next Titan, and anything else I can get my hands on from this great brewery.
