This beer is so hoppy, it practically jumped onto my sill on its own today.

A good way to distinguish a west coast IPA from the other varieties of IPA, it’s the hops. While all IPAs are known to be a bit hoppy, the west coast IPA definitely kicks things up a notch when it comes to hops. This makes for a very bold and bitter beer that can challenge the palate and kick your ass a bit, too.

For their West Coast IPA, Green Flash Brewing Company used five different kinds of hops. This beer is intense, but very refreshing and flavorful.
