The end of summer is nigh, but let’s keep it summery on the Window Sill.

In 1986, friends Dan Kenary, Rich Doyle and George Ligeti traveled through Europe enjoying the sites and sipping some brews. They fell in love with beer, and decided to start a brewery. In 1987, the first Harpoon Ale was brewed in Boston, Massachusetts. One cool thing you might not know about Harpoon Brewery: it became employee owned in 2014. Always and awesome thing.

The Camp Wannamango is a pale ale brewed with mango and mango puree. First brewed in 2016, it has become a nice addition to Harpoon’s summer selection. It’s low on ABV and even lower on bitterness, but it’s high in mango and passion fruit flavors. Pretty good summer beer!

Why don’t you go harpoon yourself some more great beer on our Instagram?
