Another San Francisco brew is on the sill today!

Local Brewing Co. not only has an awesome name, it’s got a pretty cool backstory, too. It’s owned and operated by two women, Regan Long and Sarah Fenson. While it’s their good beer that makes them stand out, and not the fact that they’re women, it’s still refreshing to see female ownership in an industry that’s pretty much dominated by men. For me, diversity leads to new ideas, and new ideas leads to kickass beer. Cheers to Local!

The Anchored at Local is an IPA brewed in conjunction with another San Francisco Brewery, Anchor Brewing. It’s a NE-style IPA brewed with El Dorado, Citra and NZ Nelson Sauvin hops, as well as some Mosaic lupulin powder. I enjoyed the hoppy and juicy goodness!

You can’t see the full label here, but it’s designed by @sciullidesigns. She’s got some interesting stuff you should definitely check out!
