Put on some Sublime and head on over to the Window Sill!

What would you do if you loved drinking beer, but weren’t old enough to buy it yet? In 1995, Colorado natives Dave Thibodeau and Bill Graham faced that very dilemma—the one that has plagued every beer-loving teen since the raised the drinking age to 21. Rather than give up on their dreams of drinking beer, Dave and Bill decided to make their own brew. After all, it’s not illegal to buy ingredients! From that day forward, our heroes vowed to make the world safe for tasty beer forever. Like many Colorado breweries, Ska Brewing Company is also big on being green. Their brewery is 100% wind powered, and they use recycled materials wherever possible, including recycled bowling ball lanes for bars and recycled blue jeans for insulation.

I can’t say much about the Modus Hoperandi that SBC doesn’t already say on its own website. “It’s old-man bitter. A mix of citrus and pine that will remind you of the time you went on a vision quest and woke up in a pine-grove full of grapefruit trees.” Sounds like a pretty good American IPA, right? It’s golden orange, bitter and hoppy with a smooth finish. Give the Modus Hoperandi a try! Thanks to @dasmiguel for donating this one to the sill.
