The window sill is visiting our nation’s capital today!

Washington, D.C. is known for many things, but Craft beer hasn’t always been one of them. Long-time friends Dave Coleman and Mike McGarvey set out to change that perception when they opened up 3 Stars Brewing Company in 2011. Dave and Mike don’t just love beer and D.C.. They also love beer culture, and their goal is to work with other local breweries to make the District of Columbia a world-class beer destination.

I picked Two to the Dome up at Beer Table for my daily train ride home, and I’m glad I did. This was my first D.C. beer, but after tasting this one, it won’t be my last. Centennial, Cascade, Citra hops and Lupulin Powder give this triple dry-hopped DIPA a big citrusy aroma that will make your mouth water. The bitter, but fruity, hoppyness quenches your thirst. Solid brew!
