It’s about time we got a Canadian beer on the shelf!
In my opinion, making craft beer is a true art form. The folks at Quebec’s Collective Arts Brewing have taken that a step further, by pairing their craft beers with the talents of emerging artists, musicians and filmmakers. When Matt Johnson and Bob Russell founded CA, they did so on two principals: Creativity fosters creativity, and creativity makes for delicious beer. Not only is the beer itself artfully crafted, each beer also features constantly changing works of art.
Just look at the artwork on the Saint of Circumstance Citrus Blonde Ale. Doesn’t that make you want to go skiing? I’ll be honest, I took this photo a while ago. The current versions feature paintings that are even more impressive. They’re so amazing that you won’t even want to recycle the cans. One thing you can bank on is the citrusy, lemony flavor in each one of these brews. This is definitely one of those all-day beers. Super refreshing and balanced!
The coolest part? Download the Blippar app on your smartphone and scan the can. I’m not even going to tell you what happens. Just go do it, and be ready for them to tap into your artistic side. Really great stuff all around!
There’s plenty of other great Canadian craft beers on our Instagram. Check it out!
