Haven’t had a stout on the sill in a couple of weeks, so I decided to fix that.

It’s time to get familiar with Evil Twin Brewing. The company was founded by Danish national Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø in 2010. Rather than having one central location, Evil Twin makes its beer in five different breweries around the world, although Jeppe himself is based in Brooklyn these days. You can find the world-reknown craft beers in 35 countries, and their reputation is top notch wherever you go. Known for its bold usage of flavor, Evil Twin is truly one of the elite young beer makers on the planet. Jeppe knows what the hell he’s doing, people.

As for the Aún Más Café Jesús? The name can be explained by an email conversation Jeppe had with a business partner. When told the price of one proposed venture, Jeppe exclaimed “Jesus, this is expensive.” When the next proposal was even more money, he wrote “Even more Jesus.” Aún Más Jesús is just Even more Jesus in Spanish (this particular beer is brewed in Barçelona), and the café is thrown in because this is an imperial stout made with “heavenly” coffee beans. Everybody got that? Good. Now go get it. Jesús!

There’s even more great beer on our Instagram, so check it out, now!
