We’re heading to the mountains on the Window Sill today!

Thanks to my good buddy, Tom, I get to drink a lot of good Founders Brewing Company beers. The Sumatra Mountain Brown is no exception. It’s an imperial brown ale made with some Caramel Malt, flaked barley and Chocolate malt, and hopped with German and Perle hops. The combination of sweetness and bitterness is outstanding. The Sumatra coffee adds to the richness, and the impeccable flavor. It’s so good!

If you’re wondering what the flags are all about, Founders sent these out to 1,000 randomly selected lucky Cadre members. It’s a hint at the identity of their sixth and final Barrel-Aged Series beer, set to come out in December. It’s definitely Canadian, maybe something aged in maple syrup barrels? What do you guys think it is? Comment below!

Update: It turned out to be the Canadian Breakfast Stout. Yum!
