Ready for some sweet delicious bucket list goodness on the window sill?

I first had a Tree House Brewing Company brew on the window sill a couple of weeks ago, as part of our Sierra Nevada Beer Camp series of reviews. Today, I finally got myself a can of honest-to-goodness Tree House beer, the Sap: an American IPA brewed with almost exclusively Chinook Hops. This delightful concoction was originally brewed as a Christmas beer, which maybe explains the jovial red can color. The sweet nectar was so well received, however, that Tree House’s founders decided to throw it into the year-round rotation.

Just from the color and smell, I could have told you this would be a popular brew. The taste took it to another level. Notes of grapefruit, pine, pineapple and young mango–a moniker I’ve considered adopting as my rapper name–hit you up front, and the finish is dry, but not too try. Nom, nom, nom. More please!

More sappy goodness awaits on our Instagram. Check it out!
