Why be sad, when you can be hoppy on the Window Sill?

How many breweries can boast that they used to be an ice cream parlor? In the late 2000s, Ben Roesch was brewing beer at Honest Town Brewing and looking to strike out on his own, while Tom Oliveri was looking to better utilize his restaurant’s extra addition (it was being used to make Peppercorn’s Ice Cream at the time). Together, the founding partners created Wormtown Brewery, opening its taps in 2010. Proud of their home state, the two decided then and there to put “a little Mass in every glass,” by making sure to use local ingredients in their beers.

The Be Hoppy was one of the first beers Wormtown brewed, and it’s also one of its most popular. I first had it at Gillette Stadium, and have managed to get my hands on a few cans in the weeks since. Super hoppy, amazingly citrusy and intrusively hoppy in the best way, this is one I will continue to enjoy every chance I get. It definitely put a smile on my face.

Hoppy times await on our Instagram, so go check it out!
