‘Tis the saison to be jolly… on the Window Sill!

We have reached the final review from my trip to Trillium Brewing Company. I hope you’ve been enjoying the posts, as well as the blog posts about my visit to trillium on beersonwindowsills.com (link in bio), but, like all good things, this too must come to an end

Prior to the Free Rise, I’d only had heavily hopped IPAs, DIPAs and APAs from Trillium, so this was a nice change of pace. It’s a saison, which is a style of beer that is typically less potent in ABV, more highly carbonated and typically fruity or spicy. Fortunately, for me, Trillium ignored that first part, and made this one quite potent. It’s brewed with locally sourced wheat, and using Trillium’s farmhouse yeast blend. The resulting brew is light-bodied and refreshing, with a dry finish and a solid alcohol kick. It was different, but still very well made and tasty.

There are more great Trillium brews on our Instagram, so check it out!
