The Windowsill’s heading down to Maryland tonight!

Dave Benfield started brewing beer in college so he and his buddies could meet girls. After college, he found he couldn’t shake his love for making his own beer, so he left the family business and opened up DuClaw Brewing Company—one of the hippest brewpubs in Bel Air–in 1996. 21 Years later, I finally have one of DuClaw’s delicious craft brews on the window sill.

The Funk tastes just like it sounds: funky as hell. The base is an American wheat ale, but it’s made uniquely delicious by the addition of blueberry and Meyer lemon. Both flavors shine through for me. I’d definitely head to Baltimore for one of these!
