Time for some chocolaty, fudge goodness on the window sill… Awww yeah.
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know Evil Twin Brewing is one of my favorite breweries. Despite not having a real home–it’s a gypsy brewery that makes its beers all over the world—ET keeps coming out with some of the more experimental and delicious beers out there. Fortunately, Evil Twin won’t be gypsies for long. Yes, they still plan on brewing beers at other places, but the Brooklyn-based and Danish-owned company will soon have a home of its own: A 10,000-square-foot former banquet hall in Ridgewood Queens that’s set to open sometime this summer.
As for the Liquid Double Fudge, it’s brewed in CT, at Two Roads Brewing Company, a stone’s throw away from my window sill. The name says it all. This thing is thick, chocolaty and full of booze. Something about it made me want to listen to some Barry White and just chill. It might not be my first, my last, my everything, but I really enjoyed this viscous, fudge treat. ABV: 12.0%, IBU: 60, Available year round.
