Check your mail box, the Window Sill is delivering today!

Hanging Hills Brewing Company opened in Hartford, CT in 2016, and is named after a range of mountainous trap rock ridges in south central CT that were formed roughly 200 million years ago. The hills even come with their own legendary curse–The Black Dog of Hanging Hills. Run into the supernatural hound once, and it will bring you joy. The second sighting is a warning. The third? You’re dead, homie. Just go to the brewery instead!

The Mail truck is less intimidating than the hills. It’s an American Pale Ale brewed with El Dorado and Ekuanot hops. It’s bright, crisp and hazy, but has a lower ABV, which made it a perfect nightcap brew for me. There may have been sleet and snow on the ground last night, but the Mail Truck still delivered!

Update: You won’t find this beer with the mail truck on the label anymore. Looks like the USPS didn’t take too kindly to Hanging Hills using its likeness. The pink color remains, but the mail truck is gone.
