Contrary to popular belief, Lawson’s Finest Liquids does far more than just put out the the Sip of Sunshine we all love so much. Owner and Brewmaster Sean Lawson actually started brewing his artisanal beers on his family property in Warren, Vermont in 2008. Although Lawson’s is still relatively small (they actually brew a lot of their IPAs at Two Roads, in CT), they did recently announce an expansion, and construction on a destination brewery just six miles from their current site.
The Super Session #2 is one of the better session IPAs I have ever had. It’s malty up front with a very nice hop finish that makes you want to keep drinking more of its citrusy, tropical goodness. It might be brewed at Two Roads Brewing Company, but it’s uniquely Lawson’s Finest.
