We’re getting technological on the Window Sill today!

I want to talk about Fizzics That’s that machine you see cradling my brew in the second photo. It’s billed as the “world’s first portable Draft Beer System.” You put a can or bottle inside, and the tap system then uses sound wave tech to enhance the taste and aroma of the beer. It also gives the brew an amazingly creamy mouthfeel. I loved everything about it. I can’t really do this product justice, so head over to Fizzics.com for more info.

Because of the enhanced creaminess and fuller mouthfeel promised by the Fizzics system, I specifically targeted the Paradise, from Prairie Artisan Ales, as my guinea pig for this experiment. The Paradise, an imperial stout aged on coconut and vanilla, was perfect for the Fizzics. The flavor was intensely chocolaty, but with really pleasant notes of the aging agents. The added creaminess and fluff from the Fizzics system made this one of the best stouts I’ve had on the sill. An incredible beer, and an awesome product.
