It’s always fun to have a lookalike on the sill!

A few weeks ago, my wife and I took a trip to Boston. On the way home, we hit up Trillium Brewing Company and Tree House Brewing Company—two of the best breweries in New England. The new facilities at the latter are some of the most beautiful in the industry. Although we had to wait in line for about 90 minutes, I came home with more beer than I could carry, and with a big ol’ dent in my wallet. Completely worth it!

According to Tree House, the Doubleganger was conceived with the intent to push the concept of their Doppelganger, which we’ve had on the Windowsill before—to its limits. They increased the kettle and dry hopping rates, while keeping the base the same. The Doubleganger delicious, with notes of mango, citrus and tropical fruit. Very hoppy, but really well-balanced. Amazing!

Check out some photos from my trip on Instagram, too!
