There’s a storm brewing on the Windowsill today!
Like any good brewery worth its salt, Tree House Brewing Company is always innovating on its recipes. The Super Typhoon—one of the highlights of the available beers when I visited the brewery—is a hopped up version (pun intended) of another great Tree House beer, the Hurricane. I haven’t had the hurricane, but if it’s half as good as the Super Typhoon, I’m sure it’s great too.
The Super Typhoon takes the Citra and Simcoe hop bill from the Hurricane and kicks it up a couple of notches. The resulting beer was well worth the 90-minute wait in line. The tropical and passion fruit flavors blend really well with a creamy body to create a pretty fantastic experience. It’ll hit your throat like a great big storm of aromas and flavors, too. I loved it!
