Wrapping up the Tree House window sill trifecta with the best of them all!
We’ve covered the fact that Tree House Brewing Company’s Monson, MA location sells out of everything it brews on a weekly basis, but have you checked out their new facility in Charlton, MA? The 50-acre facility, which opened in July, is truly state-of-the-art, with a 50-barrel brewhouse, a large retail area and a sweet tap room to boot. Did we mention it’s kid-friendly and dog-friendly? Here’s hoping the new digs will, some day, lead to the elimination of the can-limits for on-site purchases! Bring Tree House to the masses!
One beer you’ll be able to get at the new facility is the Julius. Oh you didn’t know about the Julius? Your ass better call somebody. No, Julius isn’t just a funny word to say while impersonating Arnold Schwarzenegger. It’s also one of the east coast’s best IPAs. We’re talking passion fruit, mango and tons of citrus (there’s a reason the can is orange). It’s juicy, hoppy and, at 6.5% ABV, incredibly drinkable. I had this one a while ago, but have been saving my review for the right time. Finishing off the Tree House trio is the perfect fit. If you don’t like this beer, it’s not the beer’s fault. There’s something wrong with you. Cheers!
